How Fellow Detects App Store Features
Apple promotes apps through editorial placements such as Stories, Collections, and other featured spots across the Today, Games, and Apps tabs. In Fellow, these placements are called features. Editorial content differs by country, so the same feature may appear in some storefronts but not others.
Feature detection and history
Section titled “Feature detection and history”Fellow monitors 170+ App Store storefronts throughout the day for new and updated features. When it detects a feature, Fellow captures the placement details, including screenshots showing how it appeared at the time.
Fellow groups matching placements across storefronts and keeps the localized titles and captured screenshots available for each country. It records when each placement was first and last seen.
When you start tracking an app, Fellow can also show feature history from before you added it, within the history period included with your plan.
Some older placements or screenshots may be incomplete. You can report missing or incorrect data in the app.
